Hello Sweethearts. Well the step son is off to college and loving it. I suppose wont be seeing him for awhile. Every time I call the conversation is about 10 seconds that is if he answers the phone. I remember college life. I know he isnt studying at all. I just hope he manages to keep his grades up with all the partying. He is a pretty good kid so not to worries. But still mama is gonna worry.
I have to admit when we drove out to drop him off. He pick a good college. Well from my perspective anyways. Lots of decent young men around. Something about being in that college environment all I wanted to do was find the nearest frat house and introduce myself properly to all those hard dicks.
Now my boy is on the basketball team. Well if there isnt a few nice big black boys on that team. I really am hoping he will make friends with them and bring them home on a break or two. I do love his friends so.
Pretty quiet house otherwise, hubby is working extra hard. I did have one of my friends notice the house being quiet and say I should pick up a hobby so that I wouldn’t feel so alone. I had to laugh at her suggestion of scrapbooking. Oh yes the latest craze in our neighborhood is scrap booking now I am not knocking it. I enjoy a good album like most but its not my idea of fun. Little does she know that while she is off at her little class her husband is busy doing his own things and on the odd occasion I have helped him. So really me alone? Far from it.
